Back-to-school Supplies And Theology

Most of us remember those Autumn days before school started again as we trekked to the store to buy our school supplies. Walking down the aisle, surveying pen and paper options, we probably didn’t think much about God. But what if Jesus happened to have been loitering in the supplies aisle just waiting to impart wisdom to these youngsters? What school supply might He choose to illustrate something about Himself or the faith He founded? Now, since we know that Christ is inside of us, the hypothetical isn’t so bizarre at all. As you might accompany your child on this journey, how might you use it as a chance to impart good doctrine as you “walk in the way” with him? (Deut 6)
