What’s The Most Interesting Thing About You?
Today in the first hour, it’s story time. When you meet people in a social setting, what’s your best story? You know, the thing that, whether you think it’s all that interesting or not, always manages to get other people to pay attention because they think it’s really neat. If it helps, what’s the most bizarre thing that ever happened to you? Have you ever had a brush with fame? What’s the one thing you’ve done with your life that you’re the most proud of?

That sounds like a fun show, but I missed it.
At an Internet discussion website I read the following claim:
“That's the rightist mindset in a nutshell. When injustice is done to others, the victims need to get over it and stop whining, but when the injustice is done to THEM, suddenly it becomes an intolerable thing and everyone needs to stop what they're doing and feel sorry for them.”
It could make for an interesting show to hear discussion of that claim. Conservatives could go either of two routes: Show that it really ISN’T “the rightist mindset,” or show that leftists are just as bad about picking and choosing the injustices to react against.
The latter approach technically may be the tu quoque fallacy, but still it carries some weight with me.
(I am pretty near the middle of the political spectrum by my own reckoning, so I would be a fairly neutral listener on this topic—but an interested listener.)
