Ethics: A Ladder In The Road
As I was driving to work the other day, I saw a rather large piece of road debris: a 6 foot stepladder. It was laying lengthwise and not quite in the middle of the right-hand lane of a four-lane median-divided surface street with a 40 MPH speed limit. Traffic was mostly swerving to avoid it. Question: do I have a moral obligation to remedy the situation?
