The translation is meant to make the Bible more accessible to children, but he argues that the Bible has complicated words because it expresses complicated concepts. “Belief and religion are something that people must learn” by studying. “Not everything must be easily understandable.” Some of the translation issues include rendering “blessed” as “lucky” and “meek” as “shy.”
