3PM Judge recants report critical of Israel in Gaza

The short version is this, the original international investigation was critical of Israel for misconduct and war crimes in Gaza, and also of Hamas. But now the judge (Richard Goldstone, main author of “The Goldstone Report”) who oversaw the investigation and the report is saying that Israel has done and is doing substantial internal investigations into these matters and seems to be on the right track to resolving them. Hamas, on the other hand, has done absolutely nothing of the sort. So, whereas Israel, which gets vilified internationally, is doing the right things, Hamas, which gets portrayed as the virtuous victim, is embracing the war crimes it commits (intentional targeting of civilians, for instance). It’s just another in a never-ending series of examples of how Israel in the face of hatred and vehement criticism still behaves very well even as her enemies actually celebrate being lawless and wicked.
