CC--10th Commandment: What's the positive side of the 10th Commandment?

--Ever try to not-want-something? It’s nigh impossible
--Implicit in the command is the positive injunction to actively want/pursue the legitimate things and the highest good of God’s fellowship so as to be satisfied and not want these other things.
--But even that’s just a start.
--The real key is: Love your neighbor as yourself.
--You can’t rejoice at your neighbor’s prosperity and happiness and also want to take from him whatever might bring him his happiness.
--The positive obligation to celebrate our neighbor’s prosperity.
--How can we avoid coveting?
--Focus on loving God
--Be as productive as we can be.
--Focus on celebrating your neighbor’s prosperity.
--When your neighbor’s marriage is healthy, rejoice…even if yours isn’t.
--When your neighbor’s business or job is profitable and rewarding, rejoice…even if yours isn’t.
--In short, whenever your neighbor has something good happen to him, celebrate it as enthusiastically as if it had happened to you.
--By this you both show your love for him and cultivate it as well.
--NT for out of the heart evil desires spring forth.Throw a party when your neighbor gets ahead, just as if he were your child.
